Overview

The youth hostel is situated next to the swimming pool and the sports centre of this quiet and small town that needed to be completely reconstructed after the war destructions in the winter of 1944-45.

The nicest walks of our country are to be found in the neighbourhood of this city located in the beautiful region of Ardennes-Eifel. Sankt-Vith is also the ideal place to stay for discovering the region of the Hautes Fagnes nearby. The nicest cross-country skiing tracks of Roth are only a few kilometres away.

Nature lovers will enjoy every season here.

(1) As a non-member you can also acquire your membership through the special introductory offer. You will be allowed a stay at a hostel without a membership card. Instead you’ll receive a guest membership card and pay a supplement per overnight stay. In exchange you’ll get a “Welcome Stamp” on your guest card. Once you have 6 stamps on your card you’ll have acquired a valid international membership and you’ll enjoy the normal tariffs. 
Mind you, it’ll be much cheaper if you become a HI-member, in which case you’ll get a discount voucher as well. Keep in mind that in some countries the supplement for a “Welcome Stamp” is more expensive than in Flanders.

  • Children discounts for families.

    • Children under 3 stay free.

    • Children under 12 get a discount of ±20% for bed and breakfast and meals when accompanied by at least one adult.

  • Group tariffs are the same as the individual adult tariff.

    • groups must be in possession of a group membership card. 

    • Every 16th person of a group stays free (possession of a group membership card and half pension required).
