Public transport

Thanks to its central location, Mechelen is easy accessible by train. It takes about 20 min from Brussels, Leuven and Antwerp to Mechelen.
There's a direct train connection from Brussels Airport, which only takes 8 min. 

  • Train: Station Mechelen (1km) or Station Mechelen-Nekkerspoel (600m).
  • Bus: Stop Mechelen Zandpoortvest and Stop Mechelen Bleekstraat are both close to the hostel and offer several connections.

Parking information

  • Free parking: after 17:00 you can park for free behind the hostel. Ask for a ticket at the reception (€10 guarantee)
  • Paid parking: Parking Zandpoortvest 2 is next to the hostel. Paid parking applies between 8:00 and 18:00. On Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays you can park for free.
